Petzl BOREO Durable Helmet with Enhanced Protection (Climbing, Caving, Via Ferrata)

About this item

The Petzl BOREO is a hybrid climbing helmet built with a hard ABS outer shell and a full EPP/EPS foam liner, giving it protection on the top, sides, and back of the head instead of just the crown. It's suited for climbing, caving, via ferrata, mountaineering, and canyoneering, with a soft headband that adjusts to fit and folds flat for storage. Front clips and a rear elastic band let you attach a headlamp, and the shell has ventilation holes for airflow. Certified to CE EN 12492, UKCA, and UIAA standards.

• Protects the top, sides, and back of the head — not just the crown
• Full foam lining (EPP + EPS) spreads impact force evenly across the shell
• Hybrid build: tough ABS outer shell bonded to a shock-absorbing foam liner
• Soft adjustable headband folds flat into the shell for easy packing
• Front clips plus a rear elastic strap keep a headlamp in place
• Certified CE EN 12492, UKCA, and UIAA; vented shell for airflow
