Petzl BOREO Durable Helmet with Enhanced Protection (Climbing, Caving, Via Ferrata)

About this item

The Petzl BOREO is a tough, all-round helmet built for climbing, mountaineering, caving, via ferrata, and canyoning. It pairs a hard ABS shell with an EPP/EPS foam liner, giving you solid impact protection without a bulky feel on your head. The extended rear coverage follows Petzl's Top and Side Protection standard, shielding you from knocks on every side, while big vents and a foldable headband add comfort and convenience. It's certified to CE EN 12492, UKCA, and UIAA standards, and comes with four clips ready for your headlamp.

• Hard ABS outer shell resists impacts and scratches for tough use in climbing, caving, and via ferrata
• Hybrid liner combines EPP and EPS foam for strong shock absorption in a low-profile design
• Petzl's Top and Side Protection shape extends lower at the back, guarding against side, front, and rear hits
• Large vent holes keep air moving so your head stays cool during hard exertion
• Soft headband molds to your head shape and folds flat into the shell for easy storage
• Four built-in clips let you attach a headlamp securely
