About this item

The Zoom F3 is a compact 2-channel field recorder built for interviews, film sets, and on-location audio work. Its dual XLR inputs pair with clean, high-headroom preamps and 32-bit float recording, so clipping and gain-riding become non-issues. An LCD shows a real-time waveform of your input signal, and the whole unit runs for hours on just 2 AA batteries. Small enough to slip in a pocket, it delivers studio-grade capture wherever you're recording.

2 balanced XLR inputs with locking connectors and phantom power
32-bit float recording at up to 192kHz sampling
Built-in high-end preamps with ultra-low EIN -127dBu noise floor
Automatic gain control keeps levels clean without manual riding of faders
REC hold button locks controls to avoid accidental button presses
Runs up to 8 hours on 2 AA batteries; weighs 8.53 oz, pocket-sized at 5.15 x 2.35 in
