About this item
This downcut spiral router bit has a 1/4" shank, 1/4" cutting diameter and 1" cutting length, with a total length of 2-1/2". Its spiral downcut edge gives clean grooves, slots, mortises and dados with a smooth top surface, avoiding the tear-out you get from straight bits. A wear-resistant coating pushes its working life up to 2.5 times longer than an uncoated bit. It suits soft wood, hard wood, plywood, laminate, oak and MDF, and fits any router — CNC or handheld — with a 1/4" collet.
