This is Smithey's 11" deep skillet, made of heavy cast iron and preseasoned with grapeseed oil for a smooth cooking surface. It comes with a tempered glass lid topped with a stainless steel knob, useful for braising, deep-frying, or just keeping food warm at the table. The pan handles high heat well — safe in the oven or under the broiler up to 1700°F — and works on any cooktop, including induction and outdoor grills. A helper handle on the side makes it easier to carry once it's full.
