Giro Aries Spherical

About this item

The Giro Aries Spherical is a lightweight climbing helmet built around Mips Spherical Technology, a ball-and-socket design that helps redirect impact energy. Dual-density EPS foam, the AURA II Reinforcement Arch, and 24 vents combine to keep it strong, cool, and barely noticeable on the head. At 270g (size medium) with CE certification, full lower hardbody coverage, and the Roc Loc 5+ Air fit system, it pairs top-tier protection with serious comfort and speed.

• AURA II Reinforcement Arch: shatter-resistant, see-through twin bridges that add structural strength while keeping weight down — about 5% lighter than the Aether
• Spherical Technology: Mips-powered ball-and-socket design that redirects impact force, rated #1 for injury risk reduction by Virginia Tech
• Progressive Layering uses two densities of EPS foam to handle a wider range of impact strength
• 24 Wind Tunnel vents paired with deep internal channeling pull heat off the scalp and push it out the back
• DryCore sweat management: a silicone bead in the brow pad steers sweat to the temples so it evaporates faster
• Compact, low-drag shape cuts aerodynamic drag by 4% compared to the Aether Spherical; weighs 270g in size medium and is CE certified
