This CA001 cage is a modular rig made specifically for the Sony FX3 and FX30, adding protection and mounting options without blocking any buttons, ports or the battery compartment. It comes with a top NATO rail, HDMI cable clamp, ARRI 3/8 inch holes, several 1/4 inch threads, a hot shoe, strap hooks and a hidden magnetic screwdriver for quick setup. The Arca-type base lets you drop it straight onto compatible tripod heads or DJI RS2/RSC2/RS3/RS3 Pro gimbals, and it still works with Sony's original XLR handle once you remove the top rail. Machined from anodized aluminum, it weighs just 161g and grips the camera at three points to keep footage steady.
