NETGEAR 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Easy Smart Managed Network Switch (GS305E)

About this item

The NETGEAR GS305E is a 5-port Gigabit switch built for small offices that want more control than a basic unmanaged switch offers. It runs completely silent thanks to its fanless metal casing, and connects computers, NAS drives, printers, consoles or smart TVs to your network. Through a simple browser-based interface you can manage VLANs, QoS and IGMP snooping to organize and prioritize your network traffic. Note: this is a switch only, needs a router for internet, and does not support PoE.

• 5 Gigabit (1.0Gbps) auto-negotiating ports, works with your existing Cat5e or Cat6 cables
• Easy Smart management: set up VLANs, QoS traffic priority, port monitoring and IGMP snooping via a web browser
• Compact metal body for desktop or wall mounting
• Fanless design runs silently, with IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet for lower power draw
• Switch only — needs a router for internet access; no PoE, so it can't power cameras or access points
