About this item

The TASCAM FR-AV2 is a compact field recorder built for filmmakers who need clean audio and tight sync with their camera. It captures two channels at up to 192 kHz and 32-bit float, so you get full dynamic range without worrying about clipping on set. A built-in timecode generator lets it lock to cameras directly, cutting out extra sync gear in post, with optional wireless timecode via Atomos and Bluetooth monitoring through the AK-BT2 accessory.

2-channel recorder with dual AD converters, up to 192 kHz / 32-bit float resolution
Two XLR/TRS combo inputs for mic or line level sources
Built-in timecode generator (LTC) for syncing with cameras, Tentacle-ready
Wireless timecode sync supported with Atomos devices
Bluetooth monitoring possible with optional Tascam AK-BT2
Tascam Recorder Connect app manages multiple FR-AV2 and DR-10L Pro units together
