SmallRig Camera Half Cage

About this item

This half cage from SmallRig (model 3639) is machined from aluminum to match the body of Sony's Alpha 7R VI/V/IV, Alpha 7 V/IV, Alpha 7S III and Alpha 1 cameras. Locking side plates and a bottom screw hold the camera firmly without blocking any buttons, dials or the natural grip. Multiple ARRI and 1/4"-20 mounting points, cold shoes, and an Arca-style quick release plate let you add handles, monitors, lights or mount straight onto DJI RS/RSC gimbals. A screwdriver and allen wrench are tucked into the cage itself, and rubber padding keeps the camera body scratch-free.

• Aluminum half cage (SmallRig 3639) built for Sony Alpha 7R VI/V/IV, Alpha 7 V/IV, Alpha 7S III and Alpha 1
• Two locking side plates plus a 1/4"-20 bottom screw keep the camera steady while leaving dials, buttons and grip free
• 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 ARRI mounting points plus cold shoes let you attach the 2165 top handle, 2093 side handle, 2903 monitor mount, mics or lights
• Arca-type quick release plate on the base works directly with DJI RS 2, RSC 2, RS 3 and RS 3 Pro gimbals
• Padded interior and built-in spacers guard the camera body from scratches, with a stored screwdriver and allen wrench for quick setup
• HDMI cable clamp accessory (3000) does not fit Alpha 1 or Alpha 7R IV, and can block the sync terminal on Alpha 7R V; remove the split ring on the camera's left side before using the side lock
