Thomastik-Infeld Peter Infeld Violin String Set, 4/4 Size, Medium Tension - PI101 - Synthetic Core A, D, G with Tin-Plated E - Outstanding Projection & Playability, Wide Range of Sound Colors

About this item

The PI101 set from Thomastik-Infeld pairs synthetic core A, D, and G strings with a tin-plated E string, built for violinists who want strong projection with a broad range of tone colors. The synthetic core means shorter break-in time, dependable tuning stability, and a string that responds instantly to bow pressure and finger work. It's a 4/4 size, medium tension set designed for players who want both power and nuance in solo or ensemble playing.

• Wide palette of tone colors, giving players both power and refined, elegant sound
• Synthetic core design settles in quickly, holds pitch well, and stays durable over time
• Reacts fast to the bow for tight articulation and expressive control
• Made by Thomastik-Infeld, a Vienna string maker with a history going back to 1919
