Apitor Robot J, STEM Toys for Kids Ages 8-12, Coding Robot, Building Kit

About this item

Robot J is a build-and-code kit: 480 blocks snap together into 6 different robot designs with no screws needed. Through the Apitor Kit app, kids use ScratchJr-style drag-and-drop blocks to program sequences, loops, and events, then watch the robot carry them out in real time over Bluetooth. Four control modes — Dual-Motor, Single-Motor, Gyro, and Path — let kids drive and test their creation in different ways. Runs on 3 AA batteries (not included).

• 480 pieces snap together (no tools) into 6 different robot builds
• Apitor Kit app has a drag-and-drop ScratchJr interface, so kids code with icons, not text
• Step-by-step build guides are high-res and downloadable for offline use
• Bluetooth control gives 4 driving modes: Dual-Motor, Single-Motor, Gyro, and Path
• 2 high-torque motors plus flexible joints let the robot move smoothly and expressively
• Great STEM pick for kids roughly ages 7-12; needs 3 AA batteries, sold separately
