About this item

The NF-8508 (model AT338) is a multifunction network tester built for cable installers and technicians. It maps and measures CAT5/CAT6 cables, tests PoE output and standard, and doubles as an optical power meter with a built-in visual fault locator for fiber lines. It also checks RJ45 plug crimping and detects AC voltage, all powered by a rechargeable 3.7V lithium battery.

All-in-one tool for cable mapping, length check, PoE testing, optical power meter and visual fault locator
Works with CAT5 and CAT6 cables (STP & UTP), measuring lengths from 2m up to 200m
Detects PoE standards IEEE 802.3af/at and reads voltage from 5V to 60V DC
Optical power meter covers 7 wavelengths (850–1650nm) with a -70 to +10 dBm range
Built-in 10mW visual fault locator pinpoints fiber breaks and bends
