Fosi Audio ZH3 DAC Headphone Amplifier, Fully Balanced Desktop DAC Preamp

About this item

The Fosi Audio ZH3 is an all-in-one desktop DAC, headphone amp, and preamp built around the AKM4493SEQ chip and XMOS XU316 processor for clean, detailed sound. It pushes plenty of power to both single-ended and balanced headphones, with flexible input/output options covering USB, optical, coaxial, RCA, XLR, and 4.4mm/6.35mm jacks. Onboard EQ, six filter modes, and swappable op-amps give you room to fine-tune the sound to your taste, all controlled from the front screen or included remote.

• 3-in-1 desktop unit: DAC, headphone amp, and preamp with a fully balanced circuit design for low noise and distortion
• AKM4493SEQ DAC chip, XMOS XU316 processor, and four OPA1612 amps handle PCM up to 768kHz/32bit and DSD512, with noise as low as 1.9μV
• Drives both 6.35mm single-ended (640mW@32Ω x2) and 4.4mm balanced (2570mW@32Ω x2) outputs, with a 3-level gain switch for 16Ω–300Ω headphones
• Takes input from USB, optical, coaxial, and RCA, and outputs through XLR, RCA, 4.4mm, and 6.35mm — works with game consoles too via UAC mode switching
• Onscreen bass/treble EQ, 6 filter modes (including Bypass), and swappable op-amps let you shape the sound; note EQ only works on headphone output, not preamp output
• Comes with a remote control for easy adjustment from your seat
