About this item

This Montblanc Writers Edition fountain pen honors Robert Louis Stevenson, pairing literary and nautical details with fine German craftsmanship. The black lacquer barrel takes the shape of a vintage spyglass, engraved with the ship Hispaniola, while the cap carries a ship-plank texture and a compass-shaped clip. It uses a piston filling system and a fine nib, hand-finished in 18K gold with rhodium plating and carved with waves and the word "Tusitala." A collectible piece built around the adventurous spirit of Treasure Island.
