Network Cable Tester, Ethernet Tester, Cable Mapper, Continuity Tester

About this item

This tester covers both network and phone cabling, handling RJ45 CAT5 through CAT6A as well as RJ11/RJ12 CAT3 lines. The host and remote set pinpoints shorts, opens and cross-pairs across runs up to 2000m, while also checking crimp quality on UTP or STP cables. It doubles as a POE checker, identifying power type and status on 802.3af/802.3at switches and flagging low voltage or battery issues.

• Works with RJ45 cables (CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6A) and RJ11/RJ12 phone lines (CAT3, 6P2C/6P4C/6P6C)
• Comes with a host and remote unit to catch shorts, opens, cross-pairs and other wiring faults up to 2000m away
• Checks UTP and STP cables for open circuits, crossed wires or straight-through wiring, and verifies the crimping on RJ connectors
• Reads POE switch output to show power type, supply status, and warns on low battery or low voltage
• Supports both 802.3af and 802.3at POE standards for home or industrial use (battery not included)
