About this item

The Stedman Proscreen XL is a metal pop filter built for studios and voice-over booths that need clean, pop-free vocal takes. Its 6-inch screen with rubber surround pushes plosive air downward away from the mic instead of just diffusing it, while the open metal design keeps vocal detail intact. A 13-inch gooseneck with extended clamp makes it easy to position, and the powder-coated finish plus nylon-tipped knob keep your gear scratch-free. Made in the USA.

6-inch (15cm) metal pop screen with ultra-fine rubber surround for clean vocal recordings
13-inch adjustable gooseneck with extended clamp for easy mic positioning
Redirects breath and plosive bursts downward instead of just diffusing them, so 'P's' and 'B's' don't hit the capsule
Large metal screen openings let sound pass through clean and unobstructed
Durable powder-coated finish, vinyl-wrapped gooseneck, and nylon-tipped clamp knob to protect your gear
Made in USA — total length 26.5in (67.3cm), weight 10oz, clamp range 0.39–0.925in (9–23.5mm)
