NF-8209 Network Cable Tester for LAN CAT5 CAT6 POE Checker Ethernet Wire Tracker

About this item

The NF-8209 is an all-in-one network cable tester for LAN cabling work, combining a tone tracer, length/fault locator, PoE checker and NCV voltage detector in one tool. It works with CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6a cables (UTP & STP), measures length and locates breaks up to 120m, and can scan/trace cables up to 600m with AC filter mode. It also reads PoE voltage and PSE standard (af/at), flashes the connected switch port to help you find it, and shows link speed and duplex mode on its backlit LCD screen. Body is grey plastic; needs 3 AAA batteries, sold separately.

• Tests and scans CAT5e, CAT6 and CAT6a cables (UTP & STP) with digital, analog and PoE modes
• Measures cable length and finds fault/break distance from 2.5m to 120m (±1.6m accuracy)
• Checks PoE voltage (DC 5–60V) and identifies PSE type per IEEE 802.3af/at standard
• Hub blink function locates the right port on a switch/router and shows link speed (10M/100M/1000M) and duplex mode
• Built-in NCV pen detects live AC voltage from 50V to 1000V without touching the wire
• 128x64 backlit LCD screen, runs on 3 AAA batteries (not included)
