PETZL Borea

About this item

The Petzl Borea is a helmet built for people who move between disciplines, from cragging to caving to via ferrata. Its ABS shell over EPP and EPS foam resists impacts and scuffs, while the extended, lower-back coverage shields more of the head without adding bulk. The OMEGA headband adjusts quickly, has a ponytail notch, and folds into the shell for compact storage. Vents and air channels keep things cool, and built-in headlamp clips mean you're ready for low-light routes.

• Hybrid shell: tough ABS outer layer plus dual EPP/EPS foam padding for durability and shock absorption
• Extended coverage design, lower at the back, protects the sides, front, and rear of the head
• OMEGA headband adjusts easily and has a notch built in for wearing with a ponytail
• Side webbing and a fully adjustable chinstrap let you fine-tune the fit
• Headband folds flat into the shell, so it packs small for travel or storage
• Vented shell with internal air channels keeps your head cool; two front clips plus a rear elastic band hold a headlamp in place
• Suited to climbing, mountaineering, caving, via ferrata, and canyoning
