The Klein Tools VDV526-200 LAN Scout Jr is a compact tester built to check RJ45-terminated CAT5e and CAT6/6A network cables, whether already installed or still loose. It reads out wiremap faults on a backlit LCD and includes tone generator functions for tracing cables. Runs on 2 x AAA batteries, included in the kit along with the remote unit.
