18-50mm F2.8 Dc Dn Contemporary For Sony E

About this item

The Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary is a compact, lightweight standard zoom built for crop-sensor Sony E-mount cameras. It covers a 27-75mm equivalent range with a constant f/2.8 aperture, so the exposure stays the same no matter how far you zoom. Sharp glass-molded aspherical and SLD elements keep images clean and distortion-free, while the near-silent stepping-motor autofocus keeps focus fast and smooth for photos or video. With a close focusing distance of 4.8 inches and a rounded 7-blade diaphragm, it also handles close-up shots with soft, pleasing background blur.

• Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary lens for Sony E-mount APS-C cameras (27-75mm full-frame equivalent)
• Constant f/2.8 aperture across the whole zoom range, great for low light and shallow depth of field
• Three glass-molded aspherical elements plus an SLD element cut distortion, color fringing, and sharpen the image
• Super Multi-Layer Coating fights flare and ghosting in harsh light
• Quiet stepping-motor autofocus, ideal for video and fast-moving subjects
• Focuses as close as 4.8 inches with a 1:2.8 magnification ratio, and a 7-blade rounded diaphragm gives smooth bokeh
