About this item

This is a MoCA 2.5 adapter kit, not a modem or router — it uses your home's existing coax cabling to carry a wired internet connection to another room. It works with cable, fiber, and DSL setups where coax outlets share one main splitter, but it will not function on AT&T U-verse lines or wiring that was ever used for satellite TV. Each unit outputs up to 1 Gbps over its single Ethernet port; if your coax outlets aren't interconnected or your home has none, this won't help. The box includes everything needed to connect two locations: 2 adapters, 2 Ethernet cables, 2 coax cables, 2 power adapters, and a guide.

Turns your home's coax wiring into wired Ethernet points — pairs with your existing modem/router, doesn't replace it
Each adapter has one Gigabit Ethernet port, up to 1 Gbps throughput; needs coax outlets tied to a single main splitter
Works with cable, fiber, or DSL internet — NOT compatible with AT&T U-verse or any home ever wired for satellite TV (DirecTV/Dish)
If your cable modem is DOCSIS 3.1/4.0 'high-split', you'll need a separate POE filter at the entry point for this to work properly
2-pack includes 2 MoCA 2.5 adapters, 2 Ethernet cables, 2 coax cables, 2 power adapters, and a setup guide — one adapter goes by the router, one by your device
