About this item

The Rode VideoMic NTG is a broadcast-grade shotgun microphone made to sit on top of a camera while still delivering studio-level clarity. It uses the same annular line tube design as Rode's NTG5, giving a tight supercardioid pickup pattern and a clean, accurate sound with minimal coloration. Field-ready controls like the highpass filter, pad, gain knob, and safety channel help you handle tricky audio situations on location, while the rechargeable battery and USB connectivity let it double as a plug-and-play USB mic for voiceovers or podcasting.

Rycote Lyre shockmount keeps handling noise out of recordings
