About this item

The MXL 990 Blaze is a condenser mic built for detailed, studio-grade sound. Its gold-sputtered diaphragm and FET design deliver a smooth, balanced tone across a 20Hz-20kHz range, while the cardioid pattern blocks out background noise from the sides and back. Four red LEDs glow inside the grille when +48V phantom power is connected, confirming it's live and ready. Great for vocals, podcasting, gaming, and instrument tracking.

Gold-sputtered 6-micron diaphragm with FET circuitry and transformer-balanced output for clean sound
Cardioid pickup pattern keeps side and rear noise out, so your voice stays front and center
Four red LED lights inside the grille light up once phantom power kicks in
Frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz suits vocals, podcasts, voice-overs, gaming, and instrument recording
Needs +48V phantom power, works with most audio interfaces and mic preamps that supply it
