This media converter bridges Gigabit Ethernet copper to single-mode ST fiber, covering distances up to 20 km (12.4 mi) over 1310nm. The RJ-45 side auto-senses 10/100/1000 speeds and works with any standard switch, router, NIC, NAS, or IP camera, while DIP switches give you control over fiber speed (1000Base-LX/100Base-LX), Link Loss Forwarding, and storm control if needed. It installs without drivers or configuration - just connect fiber and copper and the link comes up. Note: this unit needs dual-fiber single-mode cabling with ST connectors; it does not work over multimode fiber or a single strand.
