Akai Professional APC40 MKII USB MIDI Pad Controller

About this item

The Akai APC40 MKII is a MIDI pad controller purpose-built for Ableton Live, refined from the original APC40 with user feedback into a sharper, smarter design. It features an RGB clip-launch matrix, reworked knobs and faders, and a dedicated crossfader for mixing clips, instruments, and effects with your hands instead of a mouse. It connects via USB and works on both Mac and PC, and ships with a software package that includes Ableton Live Lite, Hybrid 3, TubeSynth, and sample packs to get you producing right away.

• Built for Ableton Live (9.1.3+), giving direct hands-on control over clips, mixer, instruments and effects
• 5x8 RGB clip-launch grid lets you trigger clips, loops and samples with instant color-coded status feedback
• 9 channel faders, 8 control knobs and 8 device controls map straight onto Ableton Live parameters
• Assignable A/B crossfader built in for smooth DJ-style transitions
• Faders and buttons double as live lighting controls for stage and lighting cues
• USB plug-and-play setup for Mac and PC, no extra drivers needed
• Comes bundled with Ableton Live Lite plus Hybrid 3, TubeSynth, Puremagnetik effect racks, Prime Loops samples and Toolroom Records packs (digital downloads)
