This 1/2 in brass solenoid valve runs on DC 12V and stays closed until powered, opening fast even with zero pressure behind it. The FKM seal stands up to fuel, oil, and heat up to 120°C, and the brass body handles gasoline, diesel, kerosene, gas, air, and oils - just not drinking water. Built for irrigation, reverse osmosis setups, home brewing, or general DIY flow control, it passes 4.8 Cv through a 16 mm orifice and carries an IP65 rating. Keep in mind it's not rated for continuous duty - limit each energized cycle to 8 hours max.
