The Breakcore is a compact handheld sampler and breakbeat drum machine built around the open-source zeptocore design. It plays back 16-bit stereo audio, stores hundreds of samples on an SD card, and layers on 16 effects plus a wavetable synth for shaping sounds on the fly. A built-in real-time sequencer with quantization and sync options makes it easy to lock into a groove alone or with other gear. It runs on 2 AAA batteries or USB-C, with firmware and starter samples already loaded.
