Magnetic Wooden Chess Set for Adults Kids 17'' Chess Board with Handmade Pieces, Folding Portable Travel Unique Chess Sets Game for Tournament Professional Beginner

About this item

A 17-inch folding wooden chess set with Staunton-style pieces made from walnut and maple. The magnetic board and pieces keep the game stable during play, and the board itself folds into a compact case with foam padding inside to hold all 34 pieces (including 2 spare queens) safely in place. Light enough at 4 lbs to take along, and finished well enough to sit out as a display piece at home.

• Staunton-style pieces carved from walnut and maple, 34 pieces total, felt-lined bases so they glide without scratching the board
• Board folds flat on brass hinges: 17 x 17 x 1 in open, 17 x 8.5 x 2 in closed, squares about 2 inches each
• Solid wood magnetic pieces grip the board firmly, so play holds steady even if it's bumped or tilted - good for travel
• Includes 2 spare queens for pawn promotion during play
• Board doubles as a case with foam cutouts inside to keep every piece secured and rattle-free
• Only about 4 lbs, smooth rounded edges, easy for kids or adults to carry and set up anywhere
